  • Finely Chopped Green chillies: 2-3 Large
  • Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder: 1tsp
  • cumin powder: 1 tsp
  • garam masala powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • chopped fresh coriander leaves: 2 tbsp

  • basmati rice, soaked for 30 minutes: 2 cups
  • water: 4 cups
  • onion, thinly sliced: 1 Large
  • green chilies, sliced: 2-3
  • ginger-garlic paste: 2 tbsp
  • cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
  • leaves: 2 bay
  • cinnamon sticks: 2
  • cardamom pods: 4
  • 4 cloves
  • black peppercorns: 1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • coriander powder: 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • plain yogurt: 1/2 cup
  • ghee or oil: 2 tbsp
  • chopped fresh coriander leaves: 2 tbsp

How To Make Kofta Biryani 2023: Instructions

  1. To concoct the kofta, in a bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt, and fresh coriander leaves.
  2. Preheat a frying pan over medium heat and use a tablespoon to form small meatballs from the mixture.
  3. Rinse boiled basmati rice under running water until it is going to set. Drain the rice. Prepare the biryani rice.
  4. Heat vegetable oil or ghee in a saucepan until brown. Fry Onion until lightly browned.
  5. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, cumin seed, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom pod, clove, and peppercorns. Fry until fragrant.
